About Joanna

Joanna grew up in Hong Kong and is fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin. She came to the US as a foreign student and completed an MBA in Marketing and Public Relations. After moving to the bay area Joanna started working for a prestigious advertising agency as an Account Executive. Since then, Joanna has had many experiences including media conferences, art exhibitions, PTA fundraising events and Chorus group annual concerts. These experiences led her to begin a successful wedding consulting and event planning company. Joanna is a professionally trained wedding consultant and successfully completed training offered by the Association of Certified professional wedding consultants.

Because of her Chinese heritage and her extensive exposure to American culture, Joanna specializes in Chinese and Asian weddings and many of her clients are Asian Americans. She can successfully blend the traditional aspects of an Asian wedding with the similarly traditional western-style wedding in helping you to come up with the perfect blend of culture and style.
